At elevations peaking at 2,300 feet, organically farmed in volcanic soil, Clay Shannon vineyards produce this distinctive and balanced wine north of Napa in Lake County. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with no oak. Aromas of mango, passion fruit and citrus, with flavors of guava and green apple, with racy acidity for crisp, bright fruit.
2021 Pacificana California Chardonnay
Sourced from a variety of coastal climates to achieve richness and balance. Fermented for 6 months in French and American oak for a creamy texture. Low-sugar and low-sulphates. Aromas of yellow apple and pineapple are balanced by hints of toasted coconut, butterscotch, vanilla, and well-balanced acidity.
